Plasmavores actually look a lot like humans, but you may think differently when seeing the name. They suck blood of any creature to survive, and they need the blood to absorb the amount of salt they needed. They murdered people they pleased, across the galaxy, and so they were very commonly known as criminals to everyone who knew. One such Plasmavore landed on Earth, in hiding, and took place in a hospital. She used the name Florence Finnegan, an elderly woman, to distract any attention. Because she looked human, it was a benefit for her, as no-one thought at all that she was any kind of alien. She was hiding from the Judoon, who wanted her dead, after she had murdered the Child Princess of Padrivole Regency 9. When she needed to, she would corner someone and drink their blood out of a straw, and she used two slabs as her guards. The Judoon, using an H20 scoop, took the hospital from Earth, and landed it on the moon. The Judoon landed in their ships and came into the hospital to find her. Because this was happening, drinking human blood was useful, as the Judoon were not able to detect that she was not a human. This was because when she drank the blood she was able to assimilate is into her own systems, the Judoon scanner reading her as human. Her plan failed though, when she drank the Doctor's blood, which was alien, and she was found. At first the Judoon thought that it was the Doctor who was the criminal, but later found out it was her and destroyed the Plasmoavore with it's blaster, shortly after one of her slabs.
