Home Planet: Earth
Life Form: Human
Episodes: The End of the World, New Earth

The Lady Cassandra believed herself to be the last living 'pure' human of the year five billion, when the Doctor and Rose came to witness the end of the Earth. Though she is supposed to be dead, she is not, as she has gone through 708 operations, mainly plastic surgery (at least when the Doctor and Rose first saw her), and her appearance, therefore, resembled a extremely thin slice of skin, held up like a trampoline on a metal surround. You could still see her eyes and mouth, and she could still talk. Her brain was concealed in a jar below her body. She states that she is the last 'pure' human, as every other human being had gone and interbred with other species, which Cassandra herself had never done. To stop her from drying out too much, she always had one or more servants to moisturise her every so often. The Lady also revealed some of the past about her parents. They had brought her up on Earth, where she was born, and lived on the edge of the "Los Angeles Crevasse". Beofre they gave birth to her, she said that her father was a Texan and her mother was from the Arctic Circle. As it is in the future, this is possible. We first encountered thin thin fiend on the spacestation 'Platform One'. This craft was a temporary place, which many aliens came to witness the Earth's destruction. She used robots, which looked very similar to spiders, who damaged the computer systems. They also joined allies with the Adherents of the Repeated Meme, which then directed the attention off her, claiming that she had nothing to do with the goings on. She would collect the money gained by insurance that would be given to her, after it made it seem like she was taken hostage, so she could have more operations. The Doctor figured it out, and told everyone, so Cassandra teleported away. The shields around the spacestation had ben cut off, leaving everyone inside to burn. Some did die, like Jabe, who helped the Doctor get the shields back online again. Afterwards, the Doctor found a device to reverse the teleport, forcing Cassandra back. There was no-one there to moisturise her, and so she became too dry and stretched, eventually exploing, blood and skin flying everywhere. Her bain was unharmed. She came back for revenge on New Earth, and identified Rose Tyler, companion to the Doctor. The Doctor had regenerated, so couldn't tell who he was. Having her eyes and brain reserved, and more skin, this time taken from the backside of her original body, she was reborn. Her assistant was a clone called Chip, and they both hid in the New Earth hospital basement. She controlled a lift, which brought Rose down to her level. She was tired of her sheet of skin, and so used a psychograft to transfer her mind into Rose's. This was not just revenge, though, as she knew the Sisters of Plenitude (who ran the hospital) were up to something. She swapped between Rose's and the Doctor's body, until she eventually found what she was looking for. She and the Doctor found diseased clones hidden inside ods in the lower levels, and took action. At the end of the story, Chip was dying, and she knew she was going the same way, so she transfered her conscuousness into him. Just before she died, the Doctor showed sympathy, and took her back in time in his Tardis to when she was much younger, to see what she had been all that time ago. She said how beautiful she was, and then died in her younger self's arms...
